The goal of this course is to demonstrate skills in designing a museum with extra hybrid functions in addition. These functions can range from research facilities to art workshops or other public uses in accordance with the context of the museum itself. The students are expected to bring new interpretations to an old archetype such as a museum while expanding the horizon of what a modern museum can contribute to the public and urban life in general. Raising an awareness against the climate crisis will be the main goal of the museums designed, while new opportunities of exhibition/experience/interaction through technological/conceptual advancements are explored.
